Renal function is associated with blood neurofilament light chain level in older adults

Abstract: Neurofilament light chain (NfL) is a novel biomarker of neurodegenerative diseases. It is detectable in the peripheral blood, allowing low-invasive assessment of early signs of neurodegeneration.
