Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), the most common endocrine disorder in women, is characterized by androgen‐excess and ovarian dysfunction. PCOS is associated with obesity, insulin resistance (IR) and increased blood pressure (BP). Currently therapeutic options to treat PCOS‐associated cardiovascular risk factors are limited.
