Renaissance of Aspirin for the Primary and Secondary Prevention of Venous Thromboembolism

Abstract: Long-standing controversy has surrounded aspirin as an antithrombotic modality to prevent venous thromboembolism (VTE), particularly in the orthopedic surgery arena.
