Abstract:Hydrogel nanocomposites were prepared using free radical polymerization chitosan and acrylic acid (AA) in combination with crotonic acid. KPS was employed as the initiating agent, while MBA functioned as the cross-linking agent. The nanocomposite of Ch-g-P(AA-co-CA) is a powerful pollutant absorber. Cr (III) was removed from the water using the combination.
