Abstract:This is the first report in the literature to describe removing war-related cardiothoracic shrapnel using video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS). War blast caused penetrating thoracic and extremity injuries in 30-year-old man. He was referred to our hospital after stabilization.
