“…Carbon disulfide (CS 2 ) is a poisonous, highly volatile, flammable liquid compound used in manufacturing pesticides and rayon. [ 7 ] Meanwhile, carbon disulfide as a solvent is also used in the production of rubber and grease. It should be noted that when in close contact with carbon disulfide, if protective measures are not taken, CS 2 will be absorbed by the human body through inhalation, skin contact, and other ways, and has strong central nervous system toxicity and peripheral neurotoxicity.…”

“…In other words carbon dioxide reacts with sulphur trioxide to give carbon disulphide and oxygen. Carbon disulphide can be efficiently neutralised using an oxidisation process [1] developed by Chinese scientists 1 . We therefore suggest the following prototype for a carbon dioxide filter; it should consist of two filters the first being an air filter containing sulphur trioxide and the second being a vapor filter using said oxidisation.…”

“…Carbon disulfide (CS 2 ) is a common industrial raw material, which is widely used in the industrial manufacturing of rayon, insecticide, rubber, and other substances. , CS 2 is also a widespread enzyme inhibitor with cytotoxic effects, which can disrupt the normal metabolism of cells, interfere with lipoprotein metabolism, and cause vascular disease, neuropathy, and damage to major organs throughout the body . The 2-thiazolidinethione-4-carboxylic acid (TTCA) is the main metabolite of CS 2 , excreted from urine after biotransformation, which has been recognized as a good biological detection indicator reflecting CS 2 exposure. At present, all the sensors reported in the literature detect TTCA by the fluorescence “turn-off” phenomenon, but there is no fluorescence “turn-on” sensing with stronger resistance to background interference.…”
