“…A specific physical characterization of the adsorbents would be necessary to clarify which minor components are responsible for the different behaviour. Regarding the portland cement, it has been reported as effective in removing metal traces from water (Hossain et al, 2020;Lim et al, 2019;Xu et al, 2018), but no indications have been reported for vegetable oils.
