“…These observations will also serve the development of environmental policies, with greenhouse gas regulation policies in particular, on a local and regional scale. Our first attempts to retrieve total ozone columns from the observations by our Fourier transform spectrometer in the infrared region (FTIR) instrument from the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine was successful [ Shavrina and Veles , 2004].
