Remote sensing of radio refractive atmospheric effects in northern australia

Abstract: For some years DSTO, RSRG and James Cook University have conducted experimental work in an attempt to classify radio wave propagation at around 10 GHz through the evaporation duct over warm tropical oceans. Actual received signals are calibrated and compared against predictions made by some currently available propagation tools.
