“…To combat neurophobia syndrome, evidence-based educational intervention to improve neurology teachings in addition to effective quality mentorship programs would certainly provide a positive educational journey in fostering neurophilia. The implementation of mentorship programs[ 44 45 ] would be a “specific pathway” to facilitate student productivity in clinical research and personal growth. It will also notably garner interest in the 3 rd and 4 th year undergraduate medical students and motivate them to pursue an academic career in neurology, thus enabling increased medical student recruitment into neurology specialization in India.…”

The literature [26] puts forward a similar view and argues that big data provides a foundation for scientific, and educational decision-making and allows personalization of teaching management and educational services. The literature [27] suggests that big data education is a double-edged sword for education and makes an objective and fair evaluation of it.…”

“… 12 - 14 Additionally, exposure to neurosurgery-specific educational activities and formalized curricula fosters involvement, knowledge and interest among medical students. 15 - 17 Moreover, preclinical surgical electives with hands-on procedural components can leave powerful, long-lasting positive impressions on students and their career choices, which extends beyond the scope of shadowing experiences. 18 Overall, literature suggests that preclinical electives have a favorable effect on student interest, yet these electives remain under-utilized and understudied.…”
