Religious tourism: a bibliometric and network analysis

Abstract: Purpose This study aims to highlight the theoretical foundations and future research directions in religious tourism and related topics from 2003 to 2023. Design/methodology/approach A total of 4,143 documents from Web of Science and Scopus databases related to religious tourism and pilgrimage were analysed using VOSviewer software.
