Abstract: Associated with positive impacts on health, religiosity has presented itself as a possible protection factor against alcohol consumption by teenagers. This study evaluated the prevalence of binge drinking and its association with religiosity among 12-year-old students, from Diamantina, State of Minas Gerais.
