Reliable Distributed Local Repair Approach for Maximizing Reliability and Packet Delivery Rate in Wireless on Demand AODV Networks

Abstract: The most used protocol in Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) uses the Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector (AODV) routing protocol for achieving dynamic, selforganizing, and on-demand multihop routing. In AODV, wireless links may be lost occasionally because the nodes on the routing path are unreachable. Such a problem causes AODV inefficient and unreliable.
