Reliability of the Laboratory Risk Indicator for Necrotizing Fasciitis (Lrinec) Score for Early Diagnosis of Necrotizing Fasciitis

Abstract: Objective: Necrotizing fasciitis is a surgical emergency often requiring prompt diagnosis and treatment. Delay in surgical intervention Contribution/ OriginalityThis study contributes to the existing literature on the reliability of the LRINEC score in early diagnosis of necrotizing fasciitis. It establishes the conclusion of previous studies that a universally reproducible scoring system like the LRINEC score is essential for the early and accurate management of necrotizing fasciitis.
