Reliability of Stereotactic Biopsy

Abstract: Because of the variability of the structural features of cerebral tumors, the characteristics observed in biopsy samples may not be representative of the whole neoplasm. The reliability of cerebral stereotactic biopsy is therefore greatly debated.
