“…Comparing the results with a previous study [2], the decision-making competency of college students, regardless of their academic major, tended to be in the intermediate level, and by subcategory, it showed lowest in self-judgment, which was similar to the present study. The subcategory self-judgment is related to recognition and judgment of one's own action, which also means comparing and judging between one's present performance and standard [16]. Therefore, college students who are in their early adult years are in a transitional period wherein their beliefs and standards are not yet established, and this result probably means that they are still lacking ability to make the best rational decision.…”
