“…It is possible that a finer taxonomic resolution might reveal a stronger association between water quality or vegetation structure and wetland macroinvertebrates (e.g. Silver, Thompson, et al., ; Silver & Vamosi, ; Silver, Vamosi, et al., ). We also acknowledge that functional traits can vary within families and genus or species identifications would have allowed for taxa to be placed in more precise groups.…”
