“…Competitive advantages accrue on the part of those involved in innovation ecosystems as opposed to those outside of innovation ecosystems. Collaborative advantages are rooted in relational rents (Dyer and Singh 1998) as well as in social relationships of manegers (Glińska-Neweś et al 2018), and are exploited under relational strategies (Zakrzewska-Bielawska 2019). “…Notwithstanding the rich literature on companies' contributions to SD [4,9,[17][18][19] and on companies' collaborations with other types of organizations (chiefly with other enterprises to achieve business goals [20][21][22][23][24]), there are fewer publications dealing with the issue of inter-organizational collaboration in relation to company engagement in projects supporting SD goals [25]. Of the research areas within this topic, the one most studied and described in the literature to date has been company-NGO collaboration on such projects [26][27][28][29][30][31][32][33].…”

“…As a preliminary step, to make our theoretical consideration sounder, we used face validation and content validation. Content validation and face validation, although typical for quantitative research, can also be used in qualitative studies (Glinska-Newes et al , 2018; Colman and Rouzies, 2019). During the content validation phase, concepts and categories were clarified and further streamlined based on existing studies in the field of immigrant entrepreneurship to refine our main construct: immigrant entrepreneurs' imitation.…”
