Relationship between thyroid function and ICU mortality (sick euthyroid syndrome)

Abstract: Background: Sick euthyroid syndrome refers to alterations that occur in thyroid hormone levels in response to any critical illness like sepsis, ARDS, patients on mechanical ventilation and also any ICU patients.
