“…OMT improves some parameters related to neuromotor coordination in Parkinson's patients, making the complex gait mechanism more stable, compared to patients who did not receive osteopathy [ 3 ]. The osteopath with patients suffering from temporomandibular disorder (TMD), is able to reduce the values expressed by an examination with algometry, and improve values inferred from baropodometry and movement of the temporomandibular joint, compared to patients not subjected to osteopathic treatments [ 4 ].
