This study tests the influence of human capital expressed by spending on education on South African GDP during the period 2021-2000, depending on the self-regression model of the distributed time gaps (ARDL). This work aimed to study the effect of Human Capital (H) on GDP per capita in South Africa during the period 2000-2021, based on the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model. The study results concluded that there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between GDP and the independent variables (physical capital K, labor force L, and Human Capital H). The results revealed that there is a positive effect of Human Capital on GDP (moral for K) in the short run, and an adverse effect of Human Capital on GDP in the long run due to the interest in employing internationally qualified professionals, contributing to an increase in unemployment and indigenous workers’ health and well-being rates. These findings are consistent with the H-related literature. Likewise, from the results of the short-run test, L is the largest among the independent variables by (0.65), K by (0,086), the least of which is H with a coefficient of (0,029). This indicates that H (skilled workforce) in South Africa does not play an important role in the individual GDP in South Africa compared to the regular labor force due to its large size compared to the qualified labor. With regard to the long-run results, there is a negative impact of H on the local product due to the fact that the interest in supporting the qualified workforce coming to South Africa contributed to increasing unemployment rates and influencing the luxury of indigenous workers in South Africa. The study recommended the necessity of supporting local skills. The support must include enhancing skills for all three categories of workers (skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled).

Existing definitions of entrepreneurship highlight the functional role of entrepreneurs, emphasizing their responsibilities for coordination, allocating resources, making decisions, supplying capital, innovation, and bearing uncertainty. This research analyzes the impact that external funding and supportive soft-skills mechanisms such as mentorship, advice, and networking with experienced entrepreneurs have on transforming the entrepreneurial attitude of new entrepreneurs. In measuring attitudes regarding entrepreneurial success, a series of variables specific to the nature of the analyzed entrepreneurial ecosystem are revealed and adapted, starting from psychological research. This approach is implemented to evaluate the self-perception of efficacy and transformation of entrepreneurs after initiating their companies. The survey of Romanian new entrepreneurs is considered as the database. The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) data set is used to consider entrepreneurial motives and impacts at the macrolevel. The correlation analysis, statistical tests, and ANOVA helped to reveal the differences in attitudes to mentorship and similar indicators in the Romanian business environment. The novelty of the research is seen in the consideration of field cases and a global monitoring data set through the prism of ground mathematical methods. The focus on boosting new entrepreneurs with a mixture of finance and soft skills support simultaneously addresses a research gap that is slightly closed by this research. The study showed that the mentoring program for new entrepreneurs increased their self-confidence, especially for young people, taught them how to run a company without outside interference, and significantly transformed the mentality of the participants in the experiment. Thus, the policy of supporting new entrepreneurs not only financially, but also in skills, has good prospects and needs to be intensified.

With the rapid development of China's economy, entrepreneurship plays an important role in advancing social and economic development. Along with the wave of global entrepreneurship, female entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial activities in China have thrived. Further more, cultural orientation can shape entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial motivation, thereby creating different types of enterprises. Based on the self-construction theory, this paper is devoted to the analysis of the influence of cultural orientation, cultural integration on female returnee entrepreneurs' entrepreneurial motivation. A total of 488 Chinese female returnee entrepreneurs participated in the survey. The structural equation modeling (SEM) and multi-group analysis were used to evaluate the relationship between the model structures. It provides a new perspective on the relationship between female returnee entrepreneurs' cultural orientation, entrepreneurial motivation, and the role of cultural integration. The results show that due to the influence of globalization and diversified cultural background, the cultural orientation of Chinese female returnee entrepreneurs tends to be more feminine rather than traditional masculine, and they pay more attention to meeting the entrepreneurial motivation of opportunity, such as interests, self-value expression and market opportunities, rather than simple survival. Cultural orientation has a significant influence on the entrepreneurial motivation of Chinese female entrepreneurs, and cultural integration plays a moderating role in this influence. The last part of the paper summarizes the theoretical and practical significance.
