Abstract: Background: GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide) has been found to affect bone metabolism. GIPR single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) is related to its activity, but the relationship between GIPR SNP and osteoporosis in postmenopausal women is still unclear.
