“…In persons without diabetes, HA1c was inversely associated with eating oily fish in women but not men, but the association was attenuated with adjustment for family history of diabetes, smoking, physical activity, alcohol, total energy and fruit and vegetable intake (Harding et al 2004). Among diabetics, intake of fish has been associated with decreased HA1c (Lee et al 2012).
