Abstract:Introduction: Arterial calcification is a negative predictor of morbidity and mortality in end-stage renal disease. Traditional factors such as hypertension, dyslipidemia and non-traditional factors such as mineral disorders are involved in calcification. They are generally classified as promoters and inhibitors.
