The factor causing work accident at the slaughterhouse is one of them, work fatigue. Work fatigue is influenced by internal and external factors, such as age, job tenure, sleep quality, and workload. This research aimed to analyze the determinant factor affecting work fatigue suffered by the workers of the slaughterhouse in Situbondo and Jember, such as age, job tenure, sleep quality, and workload. Also, an analysis was carried out to determine the main dominant factor affecting work fatigue of the slaughterhouse workers. The design of the research used analytic observational and cross-sectional research. The population consisted of 51 workers determined by using census sampling technique, in which all the population was used as the samples. The analysis techniques used were logistic regression. The result of the research revealed that there was an effect of age, job tenure, and workload on work fatigue. Meanwhile, no significant effect found in the sleep quality toward work fatigue. Age was the main dominant factor affecting work fatigue. Keywords: age; job tenure; sleep quality; workload; work fatigue

Background: Work Fatigue is a common condition often experienced by workers characterized by decreased work performance. Work fatigue can be caused by poor nutritional status, diet and calorie intake received by workers. Objectives: This study purpose is to analyze the relationship between nutritional status, diet, calorie intake and work fatigue experienced by female pottery craftsmen in Karanganya Village, Central Java. Methods: This research is a quantitative analytic research with cross-sectional study design. The study population was 70 female pottery artisans in Karanganyar Village, Borobudur District, Magelang Regency, Central Java. The number of samples taken was 43 people determined using simple random sampling. The variables studied were nutritional status, diet, calorie adequacy and physical labor fatigue. The instruments used were digital weight scales and staturemeter, Food Frequency Questionnaire, 24-hour food recall form and reaction timer. Data analysis techniques using SPSS with Chi-square test and logistic regression. Results: 48,84% of pottery crafters have abnormal nutritional. 65.12% of pottery crafters have a good diet although 69.77% of the calorie adequacy of pottery crafters is not met. 34.88% of pottery craftsmen experienced physical fatigue in the moderate category and 4.65% experienced physical fatigue in the severe category. Based on the results of bivariate analysis, there is a relationship between diet (p=0.010), calorie adequacy (p=0.044) with physical work fatigue. There is no relationship between nutritional status (p=0.098) with physical fatigue. Conclusions: Work fatigue experienced by female pottery crafters in Karanganyar Village is caused by diet and calorie adequacy deficits.

Latar Belakang: Perawat merupakan salah satu bagian penting dalam perawatan pasien hingga tidak jarang perawat dituntut untuk memberikan pelayanan optimal yang dapat menyebabkan kelelahan. Penelitian pendahuluan yang peneliti lakukan pada 10 orang perawat di Ruang Rawat Inap RSUD Dr. Soedarso menunjukkan bahwa 50% perawat mengalami kelelahan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kelelahan kerja pada perawat di RSUD Dr. Soedarso Pontianak. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 67 orang di ruang rawat inap yang diambil dengan teknik proporsional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah kuesioner KAUPK2 dan PSQI. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat dan bivariate (uji chi-square) dengan tingkat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara usia (pvalue 0,037<0,05), lama kerja (pvalue 0,013<0,05), masa kerja (pvalue=0,048<0,05), kualitas tidur (pvalue 0,003<0,05) dengan kelelahan kerja pada perawat. Variabel yang tidak berhubungan yaitu jenis kelamin (pvalue 0,081) shift kerja (pvalue=0,127). Kesimpulan: Disarankan kepada pihak rumah sakit untuk mengevaluasi manajemen shift work, melakukan rotasi kerja berdasarkan ruang rawat inap secara periodik serta merencanakan program recuperation. Dan untuk para perawat sebaiknya tertib dalam penerapan shift work dan mengatur pola tidurnya sehingga saat bangun tidur tubuh terasa lebih bugar.
