Relapsing Polychondritis

Abstract: Relapsing Polychondritis is an autoimmune disease that can present with a variety of non-specific symptoms involving the ears, nose, throat, head and neck.  Although uncommon, we should be aware of this disease entity, and should include it as a differential diagnosis in patients who complain of difficulty breathing.  It is also prudent that we never forget to look at the larger picture beyond specific symptoms to understand and explain a patient’s condition.       CASE     … Show more
