Abstract: Diastasis recti abdominis during pregnancy is a frequent phenomenon with a prevalence of 30–70%. It is associated with functional and cosmetic limitations. Gold standard in diagnosis during pregnancy is the transabdominal ultrasonography. The most frequent localization is in the periumbilical region and persistence postpartum is found in about 60% of cases.
