Rejecting Cognitivism: Computational Phenomenology for Deep Learning

Abstract: We propose a non-representationalist framework for deep learning relying on a novel method: computational phenomenology, a dialogue between the first-person perspective (relying on phenomenology) and the mechanisms of computational models.
