Abstract:This study explores Michel Foucault’s critique of human rights and his concept of droit des gouvernés, particularly with regard to refugees and migrants. It analyzes how Foucault’s ideas can revitalize democratic elements within the context of neoliberal governance and reframe our understanding of human rights.
