“…Clinical use is being reported with increasing frequency by rheumatologists (Brown et al, 2004;Cunnington, Platt, Raftery, & Kane, 2007), sports medicine practitioners (Tok, Ö zçakar, De Muynck, Kara, & Vanderstraeten, 2012;Yim & Corrado, 2012), physical medicine physicians (Ö zçakar, , and orthopedic surgeons (Seagger, Bunker, & Hamer, 2011;Thomason & Cooke, 2012;Ziegler, 2010). Musculoskeletal sonography is also being incorporated into research and clinical practice by athletic trainers and physical therapy practitioners (Teyhen, 2007).
