Regular Black Holes in an Asymptotically De Sitter Universe

Abstract: A regular solution of the system of coupled equations of the nonlinear electrodynamics and gravity describing static and spherically-symmetric black holes in an asymptotically de Sitter universe is constructed and analyzed. Special emphasis is put on the degenerate configurations (when at least two horizons coincide) and their near horizon geometry. It is explicitly demonstrated that approximating the metric potentials in the region between the horizons by simple functions and making use of a limiting procedur… Show more

“…The above solution describes the spacetime geometry of the so called ABGB-de Sitter black hole which is nonsingular at = 0, as it is shown in [66]. Furthermore, close to the center the ABGB-dS spacetime can be approximated by the de Sitter solution given by…”

“…At this point, though the asymptotic behaviour of the energies can easily be inferred from the calculations already performed for the exact metric, we deem it appropriate to refer explicitly to two particular cases in order to emphasize the two extreme configurations brought out by Matyjasek et al [66].…”

“…Other regular black holes, for instance, for nonlinear electrodynamics sources have been found 6 , as well as regular black holes in nonminimal theories 7 . Regular black holes with a phantom core, i.e., whose matter core has an equation of state ρ m + p < 0 have also been discussed 8,9 .…”
