Regioselective alkylation of tungsten diazoalkane complexes via alkenyldiazenido complexes

Abstract

Tungsten alkenyldiazenido complexes, which are obtained by the deprotonation of diazoalkane complexes(dpe = Ph2PCH2CH2PPh2) with lithium diisopropylamide (LDA) or NaN(SiMe&, undergo regioselective alkylation to give the C-alkylated diazoalkane complexes.
