“…A growing body of literature, since the seminal paper by Cohen and Daily (Daily & Ehrlich, 1992), has cataloged valuable results related to various kinds of carrying capacity (Ren et al, 2021), and various research frameworks have been used in previous studies. Research carriers focus on resource‐carrying capacity (Tan et al, 2022; Zhang et al, 2018; Zhou et al, 2021), ecological and environmental carrying capacity (Chen et al, 2021; Shen et al, 2020; Tan et al, 2022; Wei et al, 2020), water carrying capacity (Bu et al, 2020; Dai et al, 2022; Magri & Berezowska‐Azzag, 2019), land carrying capacity (Luo et al, 2020; Shi et al, 2019; Zhang & Zhu, 2022), tourism carrying capacity (He et al, 2023; Pásková et al, 2021; Zekan et al, 2022), and so on.
