Textiles of India have registered a widespread impact in terms of woven, printed and painted textiles since civilizations, dating back to the Harappan civilization five thousand years ago. Various, remote villages, cities, and states have been practicing the art of developing exclusive woven, printed, and painted textiles. The tools, techniques, and colours adopted are almost simple yet intricate and complex. Sustainable ideas of designing accessories that are Anti-Microbial, UV Protected, and Odor-Free Using Natural Materials, include studies on sustainable clothing, fabrics, and methods of creating sustainable clothing. The earliest records of these textiles are seen in Ajanta Cave Murals of the 6 th century AD. This was considered very auspicious and worn on special occasions. Ikat textiles manufactured in Odisa are called "Bandhas" and woven by special community people named Mehars and Patras. Rejuvenation is required to revive and popularize the hidden deepest heritage of the textile and clothing sector. Any style adoption and diffusion is a long process, one needs to tune with the dynamics as a spark. The knowledge and experience in developing new innovative methods of designing are very important. In this context, the use of our traditional heritage knowledge helps a lot to come out with contemporary textiles and costumes.

This paper quantifies the way in which the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) affects the restructuring of global value chains (GVCs). It incorporates an input– output structure into a general equilibrium model, highlighting important differences between intermediates and final goods. Using tariff reduction schedules for the RCEP agreement and Asian Development Bank Multi‐Region Input–Output database, it evaluates the impact of the RCEP's tariff cuts on vertical specialization and the GVC position index of members. It shows that the RCEP significantly increased vertical specialization and the weighted average number of stages for members for primary factors of production and final consumption, which led to more complex and longer production chains. This was mainly due to the trade creation in intermediates imported from member countries and those outside it. This is an important finding, distinct from traditional trade models without an input–output structure.

Subject. The article addresses impact factors for signing the RCEP Agreement (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) on the macro- and microeconomic environment and economic consequences of India's refusal to sign the said Agreement. Objectives. The purpose is to assess the possible impact of signing the RCEP Agreement on the world economy. Methods. The study employs the GTAP Model from the perspective of tariffs. I created two scenarios to simulate and analyze the impact of signing the RCEP Agreement on GDP, changes in human well-being, import and export trade, and specific industries. Results. The study shows that import and export trade and changes in the welfare of RCEP member countries have increased, and the economies of Japan, South Korea, China, Australia and New Zealand have boosted production and improved terms of trade, while the economies of India and ASEAN have experienced a certain negative impact and deterioration in terms of trade. The economies of non-RCEP countries have experienced a negative effect in all aspects. Conclusions. The signing of the RCEP Agreement has a significant positive impact on the economic interests of the participating countries, especially on the developed economies (Japan, Korea and Australia). At the same time, negative values of China, India and ASEAN in terms of GDP and terms of trade may indicate that developing economies will have negative consequences at the initial stage of free trade. However, from the point of view of changing imports and exports, the signing of the RCEP Agreement may increase the overall level of well-being.
