As post-WWII baby boomer approaching age 80, Anti-Aging Regenerative Cosmetology (AARC) has been developed and patented for beautifying and strengthening the human body using live cells; to enhance the appearance and function of various bodily parts to provide health and aestheticism of human being throughout life. It is a combined cosmetic and preventive medicine to intervene with and to correct the undesirable phenotypic expression of aging. The intrinsic properties of myoblasts and foreskin fibroblasts in development and regeneration are harnessed to formulate a genetic cell therapy program which is safe and efficacious as previously been tested in FDA Phase III clinical trials. Myoblasts are selected for strength development and foreskin fibroblasts for tenacity and smooth-to-the-touch. Both cell types are highly mitotic and non-carcinogenic. In additional to providing large quantities of nuclei as regenerative gene medicine, and of mitochondria as energy generators, myoblasts secret tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) for skin whitening and melanoma prevention. Myoblasts, because of their small size, spindle shape, and resilience, grow readily on collagen and laminin within wrinkles of skin surfaces, thus enhancing the color, luster, and texture of the skin "plated" with them. Alternatively, they can be injected subcutaneously as cell filler to reduce wrinkles. Intramuscular injection of myoblasts can augment the size, shape, consistency, tone, and strength of muscle groups, improving the lines, contours, and vitality to sculpt a youthful appearance. By improving cell genetics and organ functions, the program holds promise to sustain the human subject in good health and appearance, with a good quality of life and life prolongation.

IntroductionWith increasing age, patients' facial volume decrease. For this reason, nano fat grafting has recently gained popularity as adjunctive treatment to facial rejuvenation procedures. However, few quantitative studies have been conducted to investigate the impact of nano fat on facial wrinkles.AimsIn the present study, authors aim to investigate the therapeutic effect of intradermal injection of nano fat on fine facial wrinkles and assess their changes over 7 months of follow‐up.MethodsIn this randomized trial, 15 patients with fine facial wrinkles were enrolled. The fat was harvested from the abdomen and processed into nano fat. Nano fat was injected into the facial wrinkles intradermally with a needle of 27 gauge. The patients were evaluated before and 7 months postinjection utilizing Visio face 1000D (CK electronic, manufactured in Germany); and four parameters of wrinkles (area, volume, depth, and percent area) were evaluated before and after the nano fat injection.ResultsOur evaluation with Visio face showed that nano fat injection was significantly reduced the volume, area, depth, and percent area of wrinkles after 7 months of follow‐up without serious long‐lasting adverse effects. Moreover, wrinkles with higher percent area, depth and volume loss show greater improvement after the treatment. Our results also indicate that males and females equally benefit from this treatment except for the percent area parameter that was improved more significantly in male patients.ConclusionOur study showed that intradermal injection of nano fat significantly decreases the volume, area, depth, and percent area of fine facial wrinkles. Further quantitative studies with control groups and larger sample sizes are required.

Background: With the increasing demand for aesthetic procedures, autologous fat grafting (AFG) seems to be an attractive option for facial volumization and rejuvenation. The aim of this study was to assess the type and severity of associated complications after facial AFG for aesthetic purposes. Methods: The entire PubMed/Medline and Cochrane databases were screened to identify studies describing complications that occurred after the injection of autologous fat into the face. These complications have been reviewed and analyzed according to their occurrence and severity in the different anatomical regions of the face. Results: Twenty-two articles including 38 patients reported on a total of 58 complications. Thirty-two complications have been classified as severe or permanent, including hemiplegia (n = 11), loss of vision (n = 7), or skin necrosis (n = 3). The other 26 complications were classified as mild or transient, such as lipogranuloma (n = 12) or mycobacterial abscess (n = 2). The majority of complications were reported after injection to the forehead (n = 26) and the temporal region (n = 21). Interestingly, this location seems to be the area at risk because 53% of all severe complications occurred in this anatomical region. Conclusions: AFG to the face is associated with a low incidence of complications, but if they occur, they can be dramatic, particularly in the forehead and temporal region. Nevertheless, AFG can be used to correct age-related changes of the face and volume loss and may represent an alternative to synthetic fillers. Therefore, AFG to the face should be performed by qualified doctors under careful consideration of risks and facial anatomy.
