Regeneration and Regrowth Potentials of Digit Tips in Amphibians and Mammals

Abstract: Tissue regeneration and repair have received much attention in the medical field over the years. The study of amphibians, such as newts and salamanders, has uncovered many of the processes that occur in these animals during full-limb/digit regeneration, a process that is highly limited in mammals.
