Reframing the Learning Disabilities Experience Redux

Abstract: This article describes an independent study project for college students with learning disabilities that facilitates a reframing of the learning disabilities experience. By engaging in a systematic process of selfdiscovery and self-actualization, a number of students have indicated that they have been able to see their learning disabilities and themselves in a more positive light. The importance of reframing for successful adaptation to adulthood is discussed.
