Refractory materials for high-temperature pulse installations

Abstract:The results of studies of materials of high and higher refractoriness for the cowper heater of high-temperature pulsed installations are presented. It is shown that long-term operation of corundum refractories (up to one and a half years) at temperatures of 1750‒1800 °C slightly changes the thermophysical properties of the material.
