Refractive index changes of multi-layered spherical nanostructures with donor impurity

Abstract: In this study, the linear, third-order nonlinear and total refractive index (RI) changes of multi-layered quantum dot (MLQD) and multi-layered quantum anti-dot (MLQAD) with a hydrogenic impurity are calculated. Our numerical results indicate that the RI changes are considerably sensitive to the geometrical parameters of systems and the incident optical intensity.
