Reflections on self-determination theory.

Abstract: Self-determination theory (SDT; has led to much research over the past 25 years or so. The present collection of articles in this special issue attests to that. In this last article, we present a short overview of issues that cut across these papers as well as make recommendations for future research. We believe that the future is quite bright for SDT.
