Reflections on Interrupted Analysis

Abstract: The paper describes an analysis with a very difficult, emotionally inaccessible patient who, after more than a year, unexpectedly terminated the analysis, leaving the analyst with a sense of frustration due to incomplete and interrupted analysis.
