A coordination complex, Eu(C 12 C 12 dbm) 3 (phen), with strong emission and a high quantum yield (QY ∼ 51.9%) was synthesized. The Eu III complex, as a fluorescent emitter, was embedded in cholesteric liquid crystal polymer networks (CLCNs). A series of free-standing Eu III -CLCN films were obtained, generating a typical sharp emission band corresponding to the Eu III complex. Tunable handedness of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with high |g lum | values (up to 0.63) was observed. A series of CPL-active CLCN-coated PET films were also prepared (|g lum | values up to 0.63), which can be used for largearea preparations. Moreover, by stacking an emitter-embedded PMMA layer and a CLCN layer, a composite system was built, and a large |g lum | value (∼1.42) was achieved. Fluorescence patterns were prepared, and distinct images of CLCN films were recognized under both daylight and UV light. This work not only demonstrated that coordination compounds could be incorporated with CLCN films to prepare CPL-active materials with high |g lum | values but also provided a new perspective for emissive CLCN materials used for anticounterfeiting and encryption.

Functional materials that exhibit circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) have shown immense potential in applications such as 3D optical displays and advanced information encryption. However, facile and efficient regulation of the multiple emission properties in chiral systems has remained a challenge due to the scarcity of suitable materials and the complexity of the systems. Herein, a multiple CPL regulation platform is fabricated by the helical co‐assembly of an aldehyde‐functionalized fluorane dye (Rhodol‐CHO, 6′‐(diethylamino)‐3′‐hydroxy‐3‐oxo‐3H‐spiro[isobenzofuran‐1,9′‐xanthene]‐4′‐carbaldehyde) and chiral liquid crystals, which can efficiently combine multiple stimuli‐responsive characteristics and high optical activity. By introducing acid, base, and compounds containing primary amino (─NH2) groups, the CPL property of the system can be easily modified. The obtained CPL systems exhibit apparent asymmetry, with glum values reaching 0.54–0.75). Further, these CPL modules are successfully applied in multi‐mode information encryption, highlighting their practical utility. Therefore, this study presents a novel strategy for developing materials with diverse CPL behaviors based on a simple‐designed platform, advancing further applications of CPL materials.

Circularly polarized luminesce (CPL) materials are crucial for various applications, including display devices and bionics. However, existing CPL materials face difficulties in simultaneously meeting large luminescence asymmetry factors (glum), high photoluminescence quantum yields (PQY), and long lifetime. Here, a simple strategy to prepare a series of high‐performance CPL liquid crystal copolymers is constructed by triplet–singlet Förster‐resonance energy transfer (TS‐FRET). A series of chiral liquid crystal copolymers are successfully synthesized by copolymerizing phosphorescent donor bearing chiral cholesterol mesogen with fluorescence acceptor bearing naphthalimide chromophore. The introduction of the naphthalimide component promotes the formation of twist grain boundary smectic‐A phase (TGBA*) and behaves distinctive selective reflective effect. An effective TS‐FRET process occurs in the two components of copolymers, and dual emission characteristics of thermally activated delayed fluorescence and room‐temperature phosphorescence are observed in the copolymer films. When the naphthalimide content of copolymer is 10%, the luminescence lifetime can achieve 83.0 ms. As the naphthalimide content increases, the glum initially increases and subsequently decreases, reaching a maximum of −1.15. In addition, the copolymer films possess enhanced photoluminescence quantum yield by TS‐FRET with a maximum value of 68%. The application of copolymers in information security is also explored.
