Refazendo Nós numa Terra Arrasada: A Prática Ecológica em Terra Sonâmbula, de Mia Couto

Abstract

The focus of this work is the representation of spaces in the book "Terra Sonâmbula" (Couto, 1999). It brings out the civil war in Mozambique (1976-1992), triggered by two distinct factions fighting for the same purpose: the conquest of political power in the country after colonial independence. The approached spaces are transformed in the midst of this war. In this context, we present a discussion based on the ecofeminist theory for its relevance and contribution to the debate about humans and non humans relationships in the environment.
