Abstract:The focus of this work is the representation of spaces in the book "Terra Sonâmbula" (Couto, 1999). It brings out the civil war in Mozambique (1976-1992), triggered by two distinct factions fighting for the same purpose: the conquest of political power in the country after colonial independence.
