REE-rich Fluorite in Granite from Zinnwald/East Erzgebirge/Germany
Abstract:Another relatively REE-rich fluorite (No. Z 9054) was an emeraldgreen piece as big as your fist from the Sachsenhöhe near Zinnwald [9]. This sample served to calibrate the ICP-AES and microprobe SX50 instruments of the GFZ in the nineties. The sample contains 0.27 % Y and 0.30 % REE. Another REE-rich fluorite is from Ehrenfriedersdorf sample Sn70 with a maximum of 0.90 % Y and 1.08 % REE.
