Reduction of β-Galactosidase in the Ketotic Chinese Hamster Kidney

Abstract: Kidneys from normal, diabetic-nonketotic and ketotic Chinese hamsters were homogenized, fractionated and assayed for beta-glucosidase, and beta-galactosidase activities.
