Reduction of high-resolution spectroscopic data

Abstract: The specific heat of an electron gas is determined for any degree of degeneracy up to the order e4 in the interaction. The numerical evaluation shows a reduction of the specific heat CV/@ in the region of metallic densities. The logarithmic singularity at T+ 0 discussed in the literature is compensated by the ring sum.
