Reduction in Surface Tension of Water Due to Pranic Healing

Abstract: Objective: To study the effects of Pranic Healing (PH) on surface tension of water. Methods: This study involved the application of the PH on water and observing the changes in the surface tension (ST) values. ST was measured in the Pranic and Control using the Capillary rise method and the data were analyzed using Mann-Whitney U test. Findings: The results showed that the ST of water reduced significantly, after 20 minutes in the PH-treated samples, when compared to control. Additionally, contact angle also r… Show more

“…The longer the root length, the higher the nutrition absorption by the plants and thus great plant vigor and enhanced crop yield (Fageria and Moreira, 2011). Water when treated with pranic energy, the contact angle and surface tension is reduced which helps in better nutrient absorption by the plants (Ananthakeshava et al, 2021). Chi can alter the structure of mitochondria, enzyme activity and nucleotide polymerization, influence cell metabolism and affect gene expression (Bai et al, 2000).…”

“…After evaporation of the volatile solvent, the impression of water droplet i.e.i.e., breath figure remains fixed on polymer surface for longer duration. The physical properties of volatile solvents such as vapor pressure, latent heat of evaporation, surface tension and solvent density are more crucial (4) . Several kinds of solvents are used such as carbon disulfide, benzene, toluene, chloroform, ethyl acetate, 1-2 dichloromethane and dichloromethane also polymers like polystyrene are added in the solvents to obtain films with wide range of porosity features.…”
