Abstract:A subwavelength structure was fabricated on a textured dielectric composite by nanolithography and dry etching. The facet of the textured surface was covered with many nanospheres as masks and then engraved into whiskerlike nanostructures. These nanowhiskers can absorb light efficiently, even under large-angle oblique illumination.
