“…Even if the need of creating healthy and comfortable environment in dwellings started since ancient times, the concerns regarding the efficiency of buildings gained popularity due to the recent oil crisis and global warming menace . For Bucharest climate conditions, there have been conducted studies regarding the potential of increasing the energy efficiency of new buildings, by analyzing the behavior of the passive house concept Danu et al, 2015). The results showed that the energy consumption can be decreased by combining renewable energy sources with an efficient HVAC (Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning) system, a special type of architecture, compact shape and very good insulation with minimum thermal bridges.…”
