Reducing Distress in Mothers of Children With Autism and Other Disabilities: A Randomized Trial

Abstract: BACKGROUND: Compared with other parents, mothers of children with autism spectrum disorder or other neurodevelopmental disabilities experience more stress, illness, and psychiatric problems.
